Tim Brewer's "The Words Would Stay the Same" is the culmination of many years of writing songs about the ups and downs of love, life, and the pursuit of... sanity.
Singer/Songwriter Tim Brewer's home studio is nestled away in the heart of upstate New York's "Finger Lakes Region" tucked between Lakes Seneca and Keuka. The area is rich in history and a scenic wonderland which has lent great influence to his song writing.
Tim is a self-taught musician, who plays guitar and piano primarily, but has been known to cozy up to a drum set from time to time and he will give almost any instrument a try.
After some moderate success on the local level life took its toll on Tim's "music career" early on, with family and work moving to the forefront. Tim's love for music never diminished however, so, to this end his focus became the desire for a home studio where he could quell his creative needs and still provide for the needs of his family and friends.
Around April 1st of 2001, "Musicman Studios" was born, so to speak, and Tim began to realize his dreams. Since he started playing guitar Tim had wanted to be able to take one of his "raw" songs (him playing guitar and singing) and make it into a "finished" song complete with bass lines, drums and anything else it sounded like the song needed.
Over the last 4 years Tim has begun to accumulate various pieces of equipment and instruments and now has a fairly complete studio and has begun moving some of his many original songs into the recording/production phase.
The album "The Words Would Stay The Same" is the first CD from Musicman Studios to be released at a national level.
Of the CD Tim Says...
"The songs in this collection have taken many years to develop into what they have become today. I like a lot of music styles and you'll see that reflected in this CD."
All songs on "The Words Would Stay The Same" were written and preformed by (all instruments and vocals) and produced by and are the sole property of Tim Brewer.

Dreams
Remember how you felt after a break-up with someone you really cared about? How you thought you'd be alone forever? "Dreams" was written many years ago after a break-up.
Confusion Blues
You've just met her and she's swept you off your feet, but, you know your lives are miles apart and it would never work...and still you hope.
Baby Baby
Sometimes she sets your very soul on fire...enough said.
Turn The Tables
You did all you could to help save her from herself, but she needs a power greater than you can give.
Rain
This was written for my "best friend I never met", a web-master I met through his "Dan Fogelberg" fan forum, after a break-up that hurt him deeply.
Tell Me
A song about how she can always make me feel better.
Remember Forever
When you screw up, you have to say I'm sorry.
My Dyin' Day
You've discovered she's "The One".
The Best Thing
You tell her she's "The One".
The Right One
A song about how unexpectedly it can happen.
The Moonlit Sand
This song is about when your first night together turns into a lifetime of love.
One Small Thread
After writing a hundred love songs, you meet her and realize why you wrote them.

Your hard work, determination and talent made your dream a reality. Taking the road less traveled can make for a bumpy ride. Glad you stayed the course and made it to your destination by releasing your music for others to enjoy.
Unique sound and eclectic song selection evoke memories of life.

From the wispy, dreamy, surreal mood in track one, through the high school rock'n'roll sound of track two and the stripper crawl of track three, and through all the feelings of all twelve songs, culminating in his ending the final song and the project on a high note, Tim Brewer's unique, open sound and excellent, even voice control bring us memories of all the music we've experienced throughout life. If you listen, you'll hear some great ones - sounds vaguely reminiscient of Gordon Lightfoot, Carly Simon, America, Carole King, Dan Fogelberg, the Eagles, and even Freddy Cannon, but, make no mistake, Tim is none of those artists; Tim is Tim Brewer, with his own unique sound and style. "The Words Would Stay the Same" is the title; buy this CD to learn what those words would always say. You'll thank yourself.

I'm proud to know Tim and thrilled to watch his studio
evolve, his technique refine and his dream become a reality. She must be a
wonderfully beautiful human... ...this creation that God has graced him
with... ...this lady that sends the essence of love coursing through his veins
to the point of overflowing... ...and I thank her for this... ...for it is
that overflowing love that spills onto the page as words... ...into his
instruments as a melody... ...and into our hearts as a song. Tim has had some
great musical influences which come with the territory of being a kid in the
60's and 70's ~ Dan Fogelberg, Eagles, The Moody Blues to name a few... ...I'm
glad I was a kid in the 60's and 70's... ...and I'm glad I have "The Words
Would Stay The Same" as a part of my music collection. Although Tim wrote
"Rain" for me about a breakup that caused tremendous heartache (get your pen
ready Tim) it's not necessarily my favorite... ...and it's not necessarily not
my favorite... ...because there is also "Dreams" with that mystical dream-like
whooshing sound of the wind through the dark night where dreams take flight...
...and "Confusion Blues" with that Country Rock feeling... ...being just a
Country Rock myself, I mean Country Boy, I'm kinda partial to it... ...okay...
...just listened to "Rain" again... ...gotta go dry my eyes and convince my
heart that it's okay to hurt because the sun will shine again.
Kudos to you Sir Timothy from "The
Best Friend You Never Met" ...you're awesome!!!
I think I need to work on a song...
"It's gonna rain... ...yesterday... ...where once the sun did play... ...I
wish, for once, the sun would come to stay... ...Why does it always go away?"
