ROCKVILLE CENTRE TUDOR (24 X 36)
This magnificent Tudor home belongs to my friends, Paul & Tracy. It recently hung as the centerpiece of my annual Rockville Centre show. A sumptuous feast of a subject, it is quite commanding in its size, coloration & details. Truth be told, I always wanted to paint a picture of their home, and so was just thrilled when they called. Here is one of the greatest Tudors I have ever seen. I can imagine Henry VIII himself barreling through its front door!
COTSWOLD COTTAGE GARDEN CITY (18 X 24)
Bricks, bricks & more bricks! This gorgeous home on Garden Street was so rewarding to paint. I approach my paintings in a similar spirit to the great old 17th century Dutch masters. Their pictures are not so much renderings as they are constructions. I built this beautiful cottage carefully & solidly with paint, working in a trance over several weeks. An exhilarating process!
ROSLYN HARBOR RANCH (20" X 30")
Here's a sprawling ranch located on Bryant Avenue in Roslyn Harbor. An amazing estate, the house very much belongs to the landscape. Notice the babbling brook which intersects the property, meandering right beneath the house

ROCKVILLE CENTRE TUDOR (16" X 20")
Here's another beautiful Tudor located on Hamilton Road. I loved doing this painting and was struck by the interaction between the the brown trim and the burgundy shutters. Definitely one of my favorite projects this Summer.
